The common practice in the construction management industry is that the construction management firms are compensated based on the total construction value (hard cost) of the project. Most construction managers have continuous commercial relationships with their trade contractors whereas only project-based relationships with the owners.
Procon IQ's Owner's Representation provides fee-based construction management where the contractors directly contract with the owner and Procon IQ manages the construction on the owner's behalf.
